Q: Can I Get Dental Sedation If I’m Nervous?
Yes! We can give you inhaled sedation, also known as laughing gas. You simply breathe it in through a small mask over your nose. It takes effect quickly and wears off quickly too, with no lingering grogginess. Even young children can receive it. For a deeper level of relaxation, we also offer oral sedation. While sedation is great for soothing anxiety, it also makes it easier to undergo a lengthy procedure or to get multiple procedures during a single visit.
Q: Can I Replace Missing Teeth With Dental Implants?
Yes! Dr. Yancy Sipes will use our technology like digital X-rays to determine if you’re a candidate for dental implants. If you are, he’ll refer you to a local oral surgeon for implant placement. Then you’ll return to our office so he can attach the dental restoration of your choice to your implants. You can choose a dental crown to replace a single tooth, a fixed bridge or partial dentures to replace multiple teeth, or dentures to replace all of your teeth. Implants look, feel, and function more like your natural teeth than other teeth replacements.
Q: Can You Help Me If I Have Sleep Apnea?
Yes! For mild to moderate cases of sleep apnea, Dr. Sipes can make you a custom sleep apnea appliance that will help you breathe easy and get a great night’s rest. It gently moves your jaw forward to keep your airway open while you sleep. Many people find appliances far more comfortable and convenient to use than a CPAP machine.
Q: What Can I Do to Improve How My Smile Looks?
We offer a wide variety of cosmetic dentistry procedures, including professional teeth whitening to brighten your smile and ClearCorrect clear aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. You can choose dental veneers or tooth bonding to cover imperfections like chips, stains, and gaps.
