Dr. Yancy Sipes
Expect Caring & Consistent Treatment From Our Black Diamond, WA Dentist
So when I was 12, I broke my front tooth riding a bicycle. I thought I was going to look bad for the rest of my like. When I went and saw the dentist and they repaired it the very same day and I had my smile back, I think I was sold on dentistry. I think that was the point when I knew I was going to become a dentist. That's what I love about dentistry, is the ability to help people that may be hurting or maybe they're just not confident because they broke a tooth, like myself. So come on in. We're going to take care of you and you're going to be back to work or back to your kids or back to just living life.
Dr. Yancy Sipes is a native of Concord, CA who grew up in small towns (Pine Grove, CA and Sutter Creek, CA) in the Sierra Nevada foothills. He enjoyed growing up with lots of open space to explore and play outdoors. He still loves being outdoors, and it’s one of the reasons he is so happy raising his family in his adopted community of Maple Valley, WA.
He attended college at Biola University in La Mirada, CA for two years, then graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He married his high school sweetheart just before finishing his undergraduate degree. The couple moved to Omaha, NE so he could attend Creighton University School of Dentistry. They purchased a small, older house, which they enjoyed renovating together while he attended dental school.
After graduation, Dr. Sipes and his wife moved to the Seattle area to be closer to family. They love the small-town atmosphere in Black Diamond, WA and Maple Valley, as well as the beauty of Western Washington.
While Dr. Sipes enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he especially enjoys repairing damaged smiles with restorative dentistry procedures so that patients have more confidence and a better quality of life. He takes the time to get to know all his patients so he can achieve his goal of providing caring and consistent treatment.
Dr. Sipes enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Ethan and Anna. He also likes riding dirt bikes, doing Taekwondo, taking flying lessons, and being active in his church.
